Safety award for Suckling
Suckling Transport received the Motor Transport Safety in Operation award in London this week. This is the third award the Company has won for its innovative Zero Incident Project, having its success in winning the Energy Institute Safety Award and the Brake Safety Award. “To be recognised by our own transport industry and the industry sector of customers is a fantastic achievement that our employees should be very proud of,” said Managing Director Peter Larner. Safety Manager, Perry Southgate, collected the award at the Grovesnor House in London on Tuesday evening. Dave Elliott, who works on the company’s Shell contract at Hythe, was short-listed for the Fleet Driver of the Year award earlier that night but just missed out to TNT Express driver Steve Ward.
